IV therapy

How much does an IV drip cost in Plano, and what changes the price?

The price of an IV drip mostly depends on which drip you choose, the size of the bag, and any add-on shots. At our Plano studio, a 500 mL Hydration IV is $175 and a 1000 mL is $275. Mobile visits add a $100 deposit that is credited toward your visit. Ask any provider for the full price before you book.

What the price depends on

Cleveland Clinic says there are different kinds of IV fluids, and your provider decides which type and how much you need, based on your weight, age and medical conditions. That is why one flat price rarely covers every IV. In general, these things change the price:

  • The drip you choose. A plain fluid drip and a drip with added vitamins are priced differently.
  • The size of the bag. A larger bag (for example 1000 mL instead of 500 mL) costs more.
  • Add-on shots. A separate injection, such as vitamin B12, is priced on its own.
  • Where you have it. A mobile visit is booked by phone with a $100 deposit that is credited toward your visit.

Examples from our price list

These are prices from our own price list as of this writing. Booking pages and the price list are the final word, so check them before you book.

  • Hydration IV Therapy: $175 for 500 mL, $275 for 1000 mL.
  • Original IV Therapy (Myers Cocktail): $200 for 500 mL, $300 for 1000 mL.
  • Vitamin B12 injection: $50.
  • Sizing example: going from 500 mL to 1000 mL adds $100 for the Hydration IV and $100 for the Myers Cocktail.

Questions to ask about price

Whatever clinic you choose, get the full price in writing before you book.

  • Is the price for the drip only, or does it include add-ons and any visit fee?
  • What size is the bag, and what is in it?
  • Is there a deposit, and is it credited toward the visit?
  • What is the cancellation or rescheduling policy?

A low price is not the whole story

Price is only part of the decision. Texas's Jenifer's Law (House Bill 3749, effective September 1, 2025) covers elective IV therapy given outside settings such as a physician's office or a licensed hospital, and sets out who may order and give it. The CDC's One & Only Campaign asks patients and providers to insist on "One Needle, One Syringe, Only One Time." Ask any provider, at any price, who ordered your IV and how supplies are kept clean.

Also remember that a drip may or may not change how you feel. Results vary, and your provider decides whether an IV is right for you.

Questions, answered.

Does insurance cover an IV drip?

Coverage varies by plan and by service. Ask the clinic what applies to you, and check with your insurer if you want to be sure.

Is the mobile visit price different?

A mobile visit is booked by phone and includes a $100 deposit that is credited toward your visit. Call 469-613-7033 for the full price for your address.

Do bigger bags work better?

Not necessarily. Your provider chooses the amount of fluid based on your weight, age and medical conditions, not on a rule that more is better.

Can I get the price before I come in?

Yes. Call 469-613-7033 or check the booking page.
